What are the 4 stages of an order?
When you place an order with a supplier we stack the payments from each persons order on top of one another until the suppliers minimum order requirement is met. This creates various stages for the user: Pending -> Open -> Closed -> Completed
1. Pending
There is a payment held for one or more orders with this supplier but the suppliers minimum order threshold hasn’t been met yet. You have 7 days from when the first purchase is made to meet the threshold.
2. Open
When you hit the threshold the order stays open for 24 hours to allow others to take advantage of the threshold being met and add to the order.
3. Closed
After that 24 hour Open period the order is closed for new orders and it is shipped to the street.
4. Completed
The order was delivered 7 days ago and is no longer showing on the homepage. You can view your completed orders in the menu on the homescreen.
What is a Host?
On each street, there will be one person who is nominated to receive the order. This person is known as the Host. Everyone must collect their individual orders from the Host using our messaging system.
What do I do if I'm a Host?
Just be available on the day the delivery is due and message your buying team about when to collect, or if you’re feeling generous, let them know when you will drop it round! If you want to contact the Supplier their details are provided on the Order page.

What is a buying team?
A buying team is everyone who is buying from one supplier in the same order, these are formed when an order is placed. The first person to place an order with a supplier starts the team and everyone else who orders alongside that first person becomes part of their team, contributing to the supplier minimum threshold. There will only ever be one host per buying team and that is announced when the order is closed.
Do you take payment if the order doesn’t meet the threshold?
When you make a payment for an order we reserve that amount on your card with your bank for up to 7 days. If you and the buying team don’t reach the threshold we never charge you. If you make a payment on an open order (eg. the threshold is already met) then we charge you instantly as with any other checkout process.
Are my payments secure?
Yes. All our payments are authenticated and performed through Stripe.
What happens if my Host doesn’t give me my goods?
All host’s addresses and identities are verified with their bank details. In The Terms of Service they agreed a contract with all future team members to distribute according to the app's terms. You know where they live and have a paper trail. We suspect there will be no bad actors here, but in the event there is, you have plenty of evidence to report theft. Please contact us so we can attend to the issue.
My address and full name show in my buying team?
Only those in your postcode who have had their identity and address verified with their bank have access to the buying teams closed messaging and order detail pages. You can message away with transparency knowing you are in good company!
